Running for Office

If you are considering running for a local office, two good sources of information are:
  • The LWV's annual "Running For Office" workshop held in January, which gives tips from current office holders, the Town Clerk and the MA Office of Campaign Finance.
  • The Town Clerk, who can review how to "file papers" and various deadlines for reporting financial information.

The LWV's Candidates' Forum are held a couple of weeks before the election and are rebroadcast periodically on cable channel 8.
